      An instant Data Verification Report (DVR) has been implemented. This DVR called “X-ID” will be ordered automatically on all applications where the initial amount at risk on any life to be covered is $100,000 to $500,000. Since it only checks three key identifiers — name, year of birth and Social Security Number–the X-ID report is quickly updated. It also has many automated features to uncover potentially significant identification “disconnects” with a reasonable threshold for unintentional errors or oversight.

      The new Immediate, 10 Pay and Easy Solutions final expense products are now available in Maryland. These products offer competitive premiums, straightforward underwriting, face amounts up to $50,000 and a Children’s/Grandchildren’s Benefit Rider with Immediate Solution.
    • Final Expense Riders in TXIMPORTANT UPDATE
      The Department of Insurance for Texas recently conducted an audit of the Accidental Death Benefit Rider and Children’s/Grandchildren’s Benefit Rider on the enhanced Solutions Series Final Expense products. The Accidental Death Benefit Rider and Children’s/Grandchildren’s Rider will not be issued on any applications that are written after May 25, 2013 until the forms are approved by the Texas department of insurance.
    • Trendsetter LB (Living Benefits) now available in IL
      Trendsetter LB (Living Benefits) is now available in Illinois. Trendsetter LB features Chronic, Critical and Terminal Illness Accelerated Death Benefits built into the product (subject to state availability). In addition to living benefits, Trendsetter LB offers non-med underwriting options up to $249,999 and a choice of 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year level terms.     • Hypothetical Illustration for TransACE LTC Rider now available in AZ
      The Long Term Care Rider on TransACE 2013, which provides long term care protection in the event that the insured becomes chronically ill, can now be run with a hypothetical illustration report in Arizona. The hypothetical Illustration provides additional LTC Rider information and demonstrates potential claim scenarios. The hypothetical report does not need to be signed and is not required with the formal application.
