      Moody’s has raised its insurance financial strength ratings on our Voya insurance subsidiaries to “A2” from “A3.”  “A2” is the sixth highest of Moody’s 21 rating levels. The Voya subsidiaries that now have an “A2” rating from Moody’s are as follow: Voya Retirement Insurance and Annuity Co.; Voya Insurance and Annuity Co.; ReliaStar Life Insurance Co.; ReliaStar Life Insurance Co. of New York; and Security Life of Denver Insurance Co. As Moody’s stated in its press release, the decision was based on the continued improvement of their financial profile, particularly the profitability and financial flexibility. (On February 17, 2015 S&P announced that it had upgraded its ratings on Voya Financial’s insurance  subsidiaries to “A” from “A-.” The “A” rating is the sixth highest of their 20 ratings levels.)
