- Important Inforce Illustration changes for SUL Protector 2011
The current economic environment continues to have an impact on interest rates used with Universal Life (UL) products. As you’ve seen over the last few years, many insurance companies have taken appropriate steps to reduce the interest rate credited to their UL products, which also impacts how they are illustrated. Read more about these illustration changes.
- Transamerica:
- Transamerica will no longer be mailing commission statements.
- Commission statements will now be available on TransACT on the Tuesday following the pay cycle.
- Commission checks will be mailed by close of business Monday, following the pay cycle, via USPS standard mail.
- EFT will now be deposited on Tuesday following the pay cycle. If you are not on EFT, click here to authorize EFT for your commission payment.
- Copies of a bulletin will be included with the paper statement mailing you receive on Thursday, December 26. Please include a copy of this bulletin with each producer’s commission statement you mail out. You may use the electronic version of this bulletin should you wish to email your producers with this information.
- How to Access Commission Statements on TransACT – reminder
- Click on the Register Now link below the login button. Producer ID and office ID (located at the top of statement) are required for registering.
- Select Producer/Solicitor on the drop-down menu and complete all required fields, as well as create a user ID and password.

During the transition period, we will accept new AG HorizonIndex, AG Global Bonus Index or AG Global 8 Index sales under the following rules:
- Cash with application: Paper applications must be signed by 12/31/2013. The initial premium and paperwork must be received in good order by AGL no later than 1/14/14.
- 1035 or transfer business: Both the application and transfer paperwork must be signed by 12/31/2013. Both the application and paperwork must be received in good order by AGL no later than 1/14/14. All premiums must be received no later than 3/4/2014.
- North American:
