    Effective May 2, 2016, in response to regulatory changes, Lincoln will no longer accept Temporary Insurance Agreements (TIA) in the state of Kansas. If Lincoln determines that an agent accepted premium in error (against procedure), coverage will be denied immediately once the acceptance of premium is discovered. If this client wishes to proceed with coverage, they will need to resubmit a new application without premium. Underwriting will continue upon receipt of the new application. This only applies to new applications dated on or after May 2, 2016.
