- Regulation 275 in AZ & MT
Arizona and Montana are adopting NAIC Model Regulation 275 and will a require 4-hour Annuity CE course as well as product training for each individual carrier before any business can be solicited and written. Business signed after the Regulation effective dates will require proof of CE and agent training or it will result in a rejection of business and require the agent to take the training and have new paperwork completed/signed. This impacts both existing and new producers.
- Arizona implements this rule as of December 31, 2017
- Montana implements it on January 1, 2018.
