    • How to overcome your client’s sticker shock Have you ever had a client change his or her mind about life insurance coverage when they heard the price? By making your initial recommendation more flexible, you may be able to avoid the sticker-shock surprise and save the sale. This example shows a producer that saved the case after a client surprised him with an adverse health condition disclosure.
    • Use term conversion to save the sale If, even after dialing down the guarantee, the price is beyond the client’s comfort zone, why not propose a term policy? The affordable term price will be appealing and the client will have the opportunity to convert to a permanent plan at a later date.
