    • TransNavigator IUL Riders now available in CA
      The Children’s Benefit, Accidental Death Benefit, Disability Waiver of Monthly Deductions, and Disability Waiver of Premium Riders on TransNavigator index universal life (IUL) are now available in California. These Riders add additional flexibility and personalization options to the already versatile TransNavigator, a product that offers death benefit protection and a choice of domestic and/or global index account options. TransNavigator is built to compete in today’s market and also includes the Income Protection Option (IPO), an optional LTC Rider and “Plus” index accounts that offer a higher cap for an Index Account Monthly Charge of 0.08333% (1% annually).
    • Discontinuation of Trendsetter Express 
      Effective February 14, 2015, Trendsetter Express will be discontinued. Applications for Trendsetter Express must be signed, dated and received in good order in Transamerica’s Home Office by February 13, 2015. A great alternative to Trendsetter Express is the term with living benefits product – Trendsetter LB. Trendsetter Express will continue to be available for sale in Massachusetts and Puerto Rico until further notice. Trendsetter LB is currently not available for sale in Massachusetts and Puerto Rico.

  • Protective:
    • Protective Indexed Annuity is now available in NY
      Click here for a summary of the Protective Indexed Annuity NY’ which differs slightly from our countrywide Protective Indexed Annuity II.
    • Changes to Protective Indexed Annuity II
      Two modifications have been made to the Protective Indexed Annuity II. To help you offer a competitive fixed annuity solution to your customers, a limited market value adjustment (MVA) is being added and the calculation for annual penalty-free withdrawals is being modified.  View the agent letter (including transition rules) that was mailed to past producers of the Protective Indexed Annuity II.  Additional information about the Protective Indexed Annuity II changes:
      • The MVA has been approved in AL, CO, HI, ID, KS, KY, MI, NE, SD, TN, WV and WI
        • Indexed annuity MVA application packets for the above states are now available
        • The Non-MVA indexed annuity product is/will be discontinued in states where the MVA is approved
      • As more states are approved, they will be released in groups in order to manage the number of updates to the field
      • The Protective Indexed Annuity II without MVA will continue to be sold in states that have not yet approved the MVA
